Abstract

|
The 8 cases of severe ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome among 78 cases of ovulation induction by gonadotropins at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Hallym university from January 1 1993 to August 31 1995 were treated by ovarian cyst
aspiration and reviewed.
@ES The results were summarized as follows:
@EN 1. The origin of ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome is in the ovaries.
2. Aspiration of the ovarian cysts in the severe ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome was safe and not only relieved the symptoms but also shortened the disease process, and allowed outpatient treatment.
